I came to yoga when I was 15, seeking relief from spinal pain and alignment issues. After years on and off with the practice, I found consistency when I started volunteering at a yoga studio in exchange for free classes.
Fresh out of university and lockdown, amidst some degree of personal crisis, that’s really when I started to uncover and understand the psychological and emotional benefits behind the physical efforts of yoga.
In 2023 I took on a 200hr teacher training with The Shala. Particularly interested in meditation, mindfulness, and release, I have since driven my teaching more and more towards Yin and Restorative methodologies.
